You tough that this was about real live based on the first part of the title?Nope,its another Digimon hatepost from a huge fan that got burned^.

My autistic desire for collecting creatures had lead me to a lot of places,and a liberal market hellscape that’s unregulated and created to enslave you if you aren’t willing to relinquish your real live money to reduce a grind that wont end,because the reward at the end of the tunnel is more work,were your pay is based on layers and layers of obscure chance,like if you were gambling your live just for a 5/5 kiwimon that’s still terrible because you haven’t invested the massive resources it takes to bring it to its max potential,and when you finally do it becomes another pickaxe that searches a pickaxe for another pickaxe,and all of those are obsolete before you even get the chance because the curve of power move higher at an unreasonable speed and you need to be a literal trillionare in a broken economy just to have a chance to bargain with someone that choose to sell out just to get one of the many pieces of the multilayered puzzle that is the ultimate pickaxe,the one that will do the job for you and will drain the “fun” out of it all.

Distrohopping around and what I learned from it

I love Linux,its almost everything I ever wanted in an OS and lets me use my technology without any worries,no fear of the manufacturer or a random higher up in a tech company deciding my PC belongs to the trash,everything besides one thing just works,and excluding certain setups its as stable as it gets,witch is incredibly important for someone like me that keeps his computer turned on for weeks.

One of the things that really intrigued me was all the distros out there,all of them with their own spin on what Linux should be,most people get overwhelmed with all the choices,but to me it just meant more fun stuff to try!So I’ve been distrohopping since 2022?2021?I don’t really remember the exact date anymore,but I do remember why.

@vibuma 16/11/2025

Lately,just like everyone else,i have been bombarded with one word past the point of annoyance and against my will,the dreaded word that its the hot topic of company CEOs around the SMP500 as a convenient excuse to move their workforce to places with lax regulations in terms of labor to say the very least.The word of the year is obviously “AI”.

This article is not about my quickly degrading opinion on neural networks(now misnomered as AI) that i used to find fascinating when i was a child,seeing its primitive form fight against super Mario world and simulate evolution inside a computer.Nor is it about my immediately bombed perception of using something that doesn’t have a conscience of its own as a way to not only eliminate any form of human artistic expression,but also expanding that concept into eliminating agency from your own live choices.Even though i kinda just did.

No,my problem is with myself,in the wake of all of the AI content i started to rush in an attempt to make something …
